Canuck Pottery Orange Drip Glazed Vase made in Canada.
Marked as Number 965 on the base along with its makers mark EVANGELINE , Canada.
Produced at the Canuck Pottery company, a continuation of the Foley Pottery.
The company's origins began in 1890's as Foley Pottery and later in 1938 became Canuck Pottery, and thrived until a disastrous fire at the Saint John location, moving full production to Labelle, Quebec at which time the white bisque was introduced into its production line until the company discontinued production in the 1970's.
Its pottery fame stemmed from it stylish use of the Red Bay Of Fundy Clay.
This is a highly collectible piece and since the company disbanded there are but a few left of this large brilliant red over deep brown vase.

Measures 4-1/2" diameter x 8" tall
Wonderful condition, no chips or cracks. Little to no surface wear,
